Curated stories from across the analytical science spectrum. Often smart, sometimes witty, always human.
Who needs Analytical People?
In short, all professionals in the analytical sciences and adjacent fields.
We love this field’s endless diversity. From the lab to the lava field, analytical scientists (like PFAS) can be found everywhere, if you look hard enough.
Analytical People exists for anyone and everyone developing, advancing, or applying analytical tools and techniques (including all the usual suspects from the “S” section of the analytical dictionary: sample prep, separation science, [mass] spectrometry, spectroscopy, sensors).
Whether you are (deep breath)… characterizing the next breakthrough biotherapeutic, fixing a workflow bottleneck, measuring environmental contaminants on the high seas, smashing the status quo with a new column design, mapping metabolites with exquisite precision in the brain, or teaching others to do the same… (exhale) you are most welcome.
What makes Analytical People different?
We invest a great deal of time, care, and thought into creating engaging content that really gets to the heart of the matter.
Our four content promises:
- Unbiased context. We won’t just tell you about the next “shiny new thing.” We will chart advances and trends, while clarifying the limits as well as the potential.
- Real-world experiences. We will explore the (sometimes messy) on-the-ground realities of analytical science. We will share the highs and the lows, the successes and (just as importantly) the missteps.
- Science as a human endeavor. Human beings across a wondrous spectrum sit at the center of our coverage. All of our content will be crafted by analytical people, about analytical people, for analytical people.
- Minimal noise. We will only send content worthy of your time. We will offer an alternative to the maelstrom of hype, spin, and AI-generated babble to deliver a calmer, more curated experience. No pop-ups, no banner ads – just beautiful design and compelling stories.
